Max – Min Pin

Max was a Min Pin. This piece was made from only one old photograph and my friend’s description of her father’s dog who had died over twenty years prior. It was a gift for her father, who was so happy with it, he placed the sculpture on his coffee table so that when he sat in his chair to watch television at night, Max was there where he could reach out and pat him on the head. Helping senior citizens recall happy times in their lives (and favourite pets especially) makes me feel like I’ve made a positive contribution to someone’s life.
