Spencer was a Dachshund that I started to make as an example in a sculpture class I was teaching. When the class was done, the unfinished and unpersonalized piece was looking lonely and unloved on a shelf in my studio, so I took pity on him and finished him. He was adopted by a veterinarian in the Tampa Bay area.
